I'm With You!

  1. Economic Recovery
    • First: end the panic, open up the state and let people back to work. Job recovery and expansion are priority #1!
    •  Second: encourage businesses to relocate to Colorado with business-friendly policies and reduction of bureaucracy.
    • Support the business of defending our country – our military and the permanent basing of Space Force in Colorado Springs and expansion of aerospace business in Colorado.
  2. Energy
    • Make energy safe, reliable, inexpensive, and powered by free-market principals, not ideology or green-think guesses. Affordable and reliable energy is necessary for our personal and economic security, and should support Colorado’s growth.
  3. Restore Law and Order
    • Law and order – and those who enforce it – are a gift from western culture to every citizen who claims it. Put an end to street violence and the destruction of property.  Support law enforcement and enforce order, a lawful community, and the civil society.
  4. Second Amendment
    • The Second Amendment guarantees the rest. Lawful citizens have the right to be armed as they see fit, for sport, safety and security. To quote Thomas Jefferson, “The beauty of the Second Amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.”
    • Oppose further restrictions on the lawful ownership of firearms and roll back the unconstitutional restrictions such as pointless magazine capacity limits.
  5. School Choice
    • American parents should be able to choose where and how their children are educated. School funding should follow the student rather than automatically default to the school. Where our children learn should be our decision, not that of a bureaucrat or a union that prioritizes teachers’ interests over students’.
    • Competition is the best way to reform schools and ensure every child in Colorado receives a quality education.
  6. Pro-Life
    • Every Life Matters from conception to natural death. There are options that don’t require the ending of a child’s life, and taxpayers shouldn’t have to pay for someone else’s “choice”. I support Proposition 115 “Due Date Too Late, which will ban abortion after 22 weeks – the age at which a baby can be safely delivered and survive outside of the womb. It is a child, not a choice.
  7. Expand Healthcare Options
    • Let’s get Colorado out of Obamacare – it denies us the freedom to choose our own healthcare decisions. Allow free-market healthcare options powered by consumer demand, and increase use of health-savings accounts. Reduced bureaucracy increases opportunity, and an open market reduces costs.
  8. Transportation
    • Fully fund state transportation and the backlog of required maintenance without raising new taxes. Prioritize the state budget to put transportation where it belongs, not an afterthought after pet projects.
“Andy is a great leader who knows how to work with people to get a job done.  He’s devoted to making Colorado Springs an economic powerhouse, and getting government out of your business.”  ~ Dan Reilly

"In the time I have known him, his ethics have always been above reproach. If there is a question of whether an action or decision is the right thing to do, he says there is no question. He will never compromise his ethics for politics."
 ~ Dan Lanotte
